At BCF, we are dedicated to building an entrepreneurial team. We love bringing talented people into the fold to contribute to the growth of the social enterprise sector in Durham. Please send LC Coleman at lcoleman@bullcityforward.org your resume and a short cover letter if you would like to learn more about internship opportunities at BCF.

Our typical internship terms are from September to May (school year) and from May to August (summer) but we are flexible. Interns must be able to commit to a minimum of 5 hours/week to the internship.

Projects that interns have contributed to in the past include:

* UNC/NCCU/Duke/Durham Tech/NC State student engagement (BCF Liaison)
* Marketing and Social Media
* Major events and speaker series
* Website development
* Program and Resource development
* Systems development (i.e. CRMs, etc.)
* Improving our kick-butt co-working space for entrepreneurs in downtown Durham
* Organizational development and fundraising
* Managing our summer internship program
* Community Mapping / Metrics

Interns get to be a part of a vibrant, fast-paced workplace that will expose them to the Durham and Triangle’s entrepreneurial community. It is not unlikely that interns will help us run a job fair, throw a holiday market, go to networking events, and coordinate support for our community of entrepreneurs. They will also be able to interact with all of BCF’s partner organizations. During orientation, we will match interns up with projects. We encourage our interns to take initiative, run with projects and exercise their full creative potential when they come on board.
